121GW no backlight (button?)
«

Holding the "Mode" button doesn't turn on the backlight at all.
Anything I'm missing? Or is my backlight broken somehow?

Does your backlight flash on for a second when you turn the meter on?
I know on firmware version 1.26 it does.

Nope, just no reaction to holding the button.
Pressing it changes mode, so that works.
Still on FW 1.22. Will try upgrading to the latest.
I know it worked at some point...

So, not a common problem then I take it....
Is there a test mode or something in the firmware?
I'm 2 for 2 in broken EEVBLOG products now

if it doesn't blink when you turn the meter on and does not turn on when you push/hold the button for it then it does appear that the backlight is bad.
You should contact Dave and see what they have to say.
Shit happens.
