Need pinouts for two Wenzel oscillators
« on: January 09, 2024, 05:59:12 pm »
Hi,

I have a Wenzel 500-0854 and a Wenzel 500-01366. Does anyone have pin outs for these units?

The 500-01366 is also marked Wiltron 630-30 so it's probably removed from a piece of Wiltron gear.

Cheers,

Corby

If you have a couple of photos, let's see those -- there are only so many classes of OCXOs in their catalog and they tend to share pinouts.

On the Wenzel website (quanticwenzel.com), you can browse the list and match the size and pinout 'style' (e.g. sma + 6 pins) to your unit.  Then download the pdf for that unit.  As KE5FX states, there aren't that many possibilities.

Of course, since you've got 500 series units, they could have scrambled the pinouts to match the customers request.

Not sure on the -01366 but the -0854 looks to be a Timekeeper or similar part.  See pinout in .PDF (but no guarantees that it's right, of course.)

If it's a 24V part, the pinout may be somewhat different.  I've seen those but don't have any documentation on hand for them.

Wenzel 500-22969 ended up on my desk. No idea of origin. Where can I find the Datasheet or information in general for this?
