Siglent 2202X ~VS~ RIGOL 2072A

So question is which one to buy.
Siglent have now 30% on scope and it is about 1100€ but rigol 2072A is alsou around 1100€ and can be hacked to 300MHz.

Any advices what is better?

IMO it's a bigger picture, do you need all the additional features 2000X can offer ?

MSO ?
AWG ?
140 Mpts memory ?

Or for much less $ and with 2 channels and Decode free: SDS1202X-E

Yes, big time improved as that vid is now very old.

SDS2000 FW was changed to a Version 2 FW which offered a # of improvements, noticeably a large hunk of memory was free'ed up and made available to the user. Then the 1000X and 2000X series have since been released since and all now share very similar versions for the V2 FW including the just released SDS1202X-E.

This video is soon 3 years old! Video show SDS2000  NOT SDS2000X
Perhaps FW is extremely obsolete V1 generation?

After then V2 generation. And after then several FW updates for V2 FW's  and today SDS2000 is not anymore in European portfolio.
This video do not tell any thing right except Siglent name. Also who have made this video have some lack of expoerience.
As you can see it is like "out from box" review. No any lab grade measurements. Only twiddling knobs and wondering things.
When he compare things with Rigol there is also fact that reviewer have LOT of more experience with his Rigol.
It is total waste of time to look this kind of old totally obsolete reviews.

Today SDS2000X is very different if compare this old SDS2k and specially if compare to totally obsolete very poor FW version.  Performance and efficiency is much better,  also construction is better, nearly like from other planet.
