Uni-T 61E Fuses
« on: July 04, 2013, 08:08:25 am »
Anybody know what the replacement fuses for this meter are or a better replacement. Paper manual was in Chinese, and the online manual states

A mA range: F1, 1A H 240V, 6x25mm (CE)
10A range: F2, 10A H 240V, 6x25 mm. (CE)

I can not find fuses that are 6x25mm.  Should they be Fast, Slow, Medium blow?

Don't trust the rated CAT on the meter, so certainly won't use in anything about CAT2 so no point in sourcing out 1000v fuses ;D

Just put any fast blow 250V fuse that fits in there and you'll be fine or buy a few of the original ones on the internet.

It's written on the fuses: BS1362. They're easily found.

In the UK at least, but also in wherever Bryan is from (presumably the Antarctic). BS1363 plugs are not very common outside the UK, so I'm guessing the fuses might not be either.
