Any ANENG AN870 Owners Out There?

Just bought a pair of these through EBay and they arrived this morning and I have no idea which way around the two 1.5 V AA cells fit as there are no markings on the case or the terminals. Whilst I head out for some Duracells please could someone help out?

Watch this video and there is shot of the batteries fitted so you can see how they are inserted, the bit of interest is at 15:20.
