Agilent EL display panel "upgrade" to LCD, etc?

Would like to ditch the EL panel in my E4438C for something easier on the eyes. Not finding anything on the web (lotta noise, no signal.) Anyone familiar with the type(s) of panel Agilent used, the interface, and etc? (Haven't torn it down yet; too much going on that I need it for right now, so... I'm a beggar.)
