BK Precision 2530B Any Good?
« on: July 18, 2014, 02:15:13 am »
I've got a chance to get the BK Precision 2530B for $150 and I was wondering if it's a good scope for a beginner?  Is $150 a good deal for it?

It is a rebranded Atten scope, I believe it is an ADS1022C. The main complaints I've heard from the Attens is firmware.

Dave had a poke around at the Siglent branded version the SDS1022C.

Would it still be better than a 5mhz Digilent Analog Discovery?

As an oscillocope? Sure, but the Digilent is a multi-tool.

Yeah I was thinking the digilent would be a cheaper option considering it has many other functions.
