Multiband WSPR on the cheap

This is sort of crazy, but WB9LVI implemented a multiband WSPR transmitter using a FeelTech FY6600.  Here's a link to the QEX article.

While I despise F***Tech because of their lack of customer support, it's actually a good device and the FY6800 incorporates many improvements developed by forum members in this thread:

So far as I know there is no documentation of the RS-232 interface, but it is there and with a GPSDO to time the transmissions it would neatly cycle through all the band allocations using a PC or any cheap MCU.  So it has the potential to be a very valuable tool for investigating propagation up to 6 meters.  At low power levels (1-2 Vpp output) the spurs are comparable to my Keysight 33622A  without the benefit of the output amp modification.
