Nice power supply!
In the fifth picture from the top, is there any insulation between that board with the fuses and the metallic case?

Thanks guys.

@Alex. There is no insulation between the board and the case mate but I understand what your saying, I think the picture gives a false impression though.

The board itself is actually about 1" from the rear of the case and is also supported properly on brackets, as well as being held in place via the main power input jack etc. Also on back side of that particular board there are insulated wires which are folded back on themselves, so if the board were to somehow move or bend that rather large distance only the insulated wires would touch the case.

Regards

orb

if you search for "triple output DC supply" on ebay, you will see 20+ clones from Mastech, GW Instek, Tektronix, Array and many many others. This is made by Mastech.

Pics taken with a Nikon Coolpix E8700. Quite old now but as with any digital camera it's Photoshop CS5 that does all the hard work :)

Sorry but I also have a couple of other PSU's like those on eBay. One from Circuit Specialists (3005XIII), and also a GW Instek GW Instek (SPD3606.)

Neither are anything like the TTi unit, and the build quality is totaly different. TTi (Thurlby Thandar Instruments Limited) manufacture their own test equipment.

Can't help with that one Dave, sorry mate.

very sexy indeed,
but £716 (excl VAT) is a bit high for a PS for hobby usage :)
Real Circuit design time in minutes= (2 + Nscopes) Testim + (40 +120 Kbrewski) Nfriends

Testim = estimated time in minutes Nscopes= number of oscilloscopes present Kbrewski = linear approx of the nonlinear beer effect Nfriends = number of circuit design friends present
