Aixun T3A next step
« on: Yesterday at 11:55:01 pm »
Getting tired of the poor heater control, fiddly handle, wonk grounding etc.
Used it for a few years on and off and would like something more dependable as I'm starting to work with more temp-sensitive components.

Have a bunch of genuine JBC C245 cartridges that I've accumulated.

Anyone able to recommend a station that's noticeably better than the T3A clone but doesn't cost a few thousand?
Mostly for working on small 8-pin DIP packages, 0402 surface mount, etc.

I might be interested in rigging up a desoldering pump jig (I have vacuum pumps, can 3D print a handle'n stuff using the JBC spare part)
Desolder tweezers would be nice but more of a want than a need :)

I bought a Aixun T420D with the T115, T210 and T245 handles and have not looked back.
