Wavetek Meterman 235
« on: November 18, 2021, 10:26:23 am »
Got a Wavetek Meterman 235 Multimeter "T-Shaped",
which only is 'on' on the 'OFF' position and 'off' on all other positions.
When on, does not do anything sensible but displays some current range and random values.

Anyone got some schematic / tipps / hints on that device ?

Thanks, Thomas

I've got a Meterman 35XP.

Start by opening the thing and getting a datasheet from the main measurement IC.
Most functions of a DMM are implemented in a single chip, and that chip dictates most of the internals.

It's probably not very difficult to match an example from the datasheet to your meter.
