Hantek DSO5072P FPGA error message

Hello, my first post, hope it is in the right place, and someone can offer any help at all please.
I purchased the Hantek DSO 5072 about 18 months ago, worked well and only had about 20 hours use in total.
No modifications or upgrades attempted.
Every time I switch on now I see an error message  "Error: Fpga version does not math with the app!!
The screen stays on, all buttons illuminated, but no relay clicks which I normally hear at power up. No controls function, only option is off button.
I saw one previous post, but no solution, can anyone give me any clues please?
