What are these IC's?
« on: November 15, 2015, 09:09:12 pm »
I got a handful of these packages in a grab bag of 74 series logic from eBay. I have never seen these tall DIP packages before, do they house a battery like a small NVRAM?

A google search for part numbers has brought up nothing.

Any guesses?

They are transformers. Most likely for communication applications, like Ethernet, for example.

Search on the name Sprague confirms this.
