No, this wont be next Batteroo. Battero is classic example how not to market your otherwise ok product...

This is pure BS... I remember Dave busting one of these wifi-wave chargers already ages ago.. And he did that with simple back of envelope calculations...  :-+
Electronics, Linux, Programming, Science... im interested all of it...

To be fair

That middle image where it says 1250mAh from wireless charging sounds less bulshitty when you look at the timeframe of 24hrs. Would need to sit down and do the math but 1250mAh over 24hrs?? Sound somewhat believable, a useless product still.
Although now that I look at it maybe not, figures are a bit weird and probably bullshit.

I'll be testing wireless energy transfers in my room, too right now, so I will have a chance to see how it works inm practice, but at short distances decent results can be achived, but of course Tech :bullshit: novator not needed but Litz wires, etc.  ;)

People have been transmitting power over large distances for about 100 years now.

eg. Early radios had no battery, just a resonant crystal and an earpiece. They worked.

The only questions are "efficiency?" and "charge rate?"

I'm guessing the target demographic won't worry much about efficiency, that only leaves "charge rate".

(..,and whether or not the clip-on charger is stylish enough for their lifestyle).

Case has an internal accumulators that smoothes charge mode of the smartphone and increases the volume of charge.

I suspect the battery in the case is the only thing that will be doing any significant charging if you are 5 meters from the transmitters.  You just can't work around the inverse square law problem with omnidirectional transmitters.

We already know the theoretical best-case efficiency based on the inverse square law.

Omnidirectional wireless energy transfer over any sort of distance is all about convenience. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever efficiency-wise since achieving even 1% will be difficult.

I just hope that all the clueless moron doing long distance wireless charging lives far far away from me, so I dont have to listen to their moaning, when they die, because of the brain tumor they developed.
Seriously, I've seen some other dumbass suggesting to charge phone with ultrasonic. So what is next? We paint the wall with radon, or shoot lasers in the room? Anyone got any more harmful idea? Get a stupid USB cable already!

Honestly, I did not look at the images closer before. If you look at the vertical scale on the middle graph, then the "charging" appears to be in the order of 0.5 mAh per hour during the 24 hours - suddenly I believe: yes, that's possible, but that's not usable!

The number below, 1245 mAh, might be the total charge ever transfered into the testphone, probably then during some 3000 hours (4 months) of testing this "invention".

Calling this "Wireless Power Transfer" is an exaggeration. Yes, there is no cable between the transmitter and receiver, but this is a system of two coupled coils at a very close distance, i.e. we are not talking about radiated power. For the coupling between the coils it is necessary for them to essentially overlap and form a coreless transformer - but then the question is: why would you want to use it to power an LED lamp? If the lamp has to be standing on the transmitter station, then why not have a cable to the lamp?

So what is next?
Small solar PV panels as receivers of free SUN energy?

However WPT with coil hidden inside desk table might be usefull too, just put devices to be charged on table and  let it go.
Anyway, small solar PV panels seams much better solution since you do not have to have stupid base station with RF noise source, since even on remote island without electricity one can charge its radio and make a call.

Need to put somewhere another dummy RF tower with Tech  :bullshit: novator is of course stupid idea.
It should be transparent so I decided put wires around room on the bottom, but more efficient could be make WPT desk, but we have to remeber to put device there to be charged.
