Durable air quality sensor for high temperature
« on: July 24, 2019, 05:57:06 am »
Dear all,

I need to measure a air quality (CO2, CO, etc.) inside a stove. Therefore, please tell me me a available sensor according to following specs.

1. Durable to high temperature 5. (1000 Celsius)
2. Pre-calibrated
3. Good resolution
4. This must have direct digital output with I2C/RS232 etc.

Thanks

Have a look at a 'flue gas analyser'. These work by using a pump to draw a hot gas sample through a cooling coil to a chemical sensor operating at a much lower temperature. Provided nothing in the gas sample condenses, the composition will be the same. Should be much cheaper.
