Hello
This is my first post on this forum. Thanks to the various information available here and Dave's Videos, I recently bought a DSOX2022. It is a very good scope. But I am HAM radio operator and wanted more as for the FFT Part of this oscilloscope (~ a poor's man spectrum analyser!). Especially, I noticed that 2 tone test was not practicable above the 80m band.
So I wrote my own software to get a better precision of the FFT. By extracting the maximum number of points available (500k vs 65k), I can now perform a 2 tones test up to 30MHZ. See image attached related to the 2 tone test of a KX3 @ 29Mz (29dB below PEP, worst case).
Finally, from line of code to line of code... I also added several graphic functions and many commands to control the oscilloscope itself (not All) and even a mixed domain interface which mimics some high-end scope... This is MATH4DSO (free).
It has been written and tested with a DSOX2022 and should run with any DSOX2000 and (I hope) with any DSOX3000 (I added the necessary commands to ensure a compatibility). I do not recommend to test this version with any other brand (as far as I can see Rigol uses a different syntax for the Acquire functions).
The program uses the USB port and does not requires the LAN interface. The Keysight IO Library is required (Windows 7 minimum).
You can download it from
http://trx-manager.com/math4dso.htmThe package includes an help file with some tips. Please consider it as beta version.
