my new avometer

Hi all,i have just got hold of an avometer 9sx panclimatic,it has a number on the case:6625-99-943-1524,its in an drab olive green case and has ranges upto 3000v,pretty pleased with it as its mint condition with all the probes etc, any idea what date it would be?,and an approx value?,thanks in advance.

I don't know but my guess is around 1960.

Going rate for AVOs at a recent amateur radio rally was £5. Down from £10 the year before.
