Gerber File Viewer
« on: August 29, 2020, 02:49:00 am »
Any suggestions for a standalone Gerber File Viewer?  I need to print a PCB board image to paper and use it as a drilling template.  So, it will be important that the printed image is very close to 1:1 accuracy.

Many thanks, gerbv worked well.  The image printed slightly smaller than the PCB.  To get the exact size, export the print to a PDF file.  Open up the file in Adobe Acrobat, and adjust the scale in the print settings menu until the board fits precisely on paper.  In my case, it was 102%.

That is probably the fault of your printer and driver, not the gerb viewer.  Note also that the paper and humidity level play a part in this as well. Even the handling of the paper can have an effect.
