Keysight tries hard but really? ... the whole thing is very amateurish. FFS
I was just thinking to myself today that the whole contest/event is really quite casual for such a large company, which is something I absolutely
love about it. It's all more tangible and I feel more engaged than if it was some sterile, highly polished, sealed-envelope contest. I feel like I have more of a chance this way for some reason, which makes it more fun to play along.
As for the goof, I get not being thrilled, but I think some deep breaths are in order. If you're using a highly sensitive or guarded email address for entering a contest that is so obviously a marketing event, you share a teeny little bit of the responsibility here. Now if you're using all of your email addresses to get more entries into the pool, I hope your precious email address is sold like a $3.....
Anyway, deep breaths, little Fonzies.
