For those paranoid intertube users like myself, in order to use the site, you'll have to do the following:
1) Enable session cookies for the site.
2) Allow pop-up windows for the site (no actual pop-up occurs, but it seems that the site uses a PHP script that mimics a pop-up, and gets blocked).
All other adblockers and privacy add-ons seem to work, otherwise.
Scroll through the names, pick your item, (pop-up) answer the captcha, and you're done.
Some nitpicking:
1) Load times can be reduced by sorting manufacturer names by first letter/#.
2) Further sorting by category would be really nice (e.g., Audio, Computer, Automotive, etc.).
3) The test PDF I D/L'd was a very poor scan of the schematic. Readable, but fuzzy. I would suspect that as time goes on, better scans will replace these.
4) No uploading provision (yet!). I've got some docs that really should be scanned an U/L'd for posterity, as I'm sure most of us here do, too.
5) Crappy E-Bay "slideshow" ads based on what you're searching for. Not particularly intrusive, and they've got to pay for it somehow. So, necessary evil, I guess...
All in all, an excellent start!
