What is a good air filter to use for a living space (i.e. living room). I like the tower shaped ones (my current one met the reaper man), and it was being a noisy bastard since 2004,

What is a good brand to look at?

a requirement is that the electronics package must be accessible through normal methods with screws without like insane stuff (this bionaire that met its end had a fucking metal mesh bend over the panel that had the screw heads) so none to say the autopsy was quite gruesome.

if it was possible to disassemble without panel beating afterwards I would have tried to revive it.
