USB C 6 Pin connector
« on: September 12, 2024, 10:18:02 am »
Hi!

I need to use 6-pin USB Type-C female connectors to charge a lithium battery.
I could get the 5V I need from VBUS and GND.
I found the datasheet but I don't know how to connect CC1 and CC2.
Do I leave them free?

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

You connect a 5KOhm resistors between each those pins and ground. Two resistors in total.  It could be 4.99K or 5.1K as well, 5K is nominal.
