Plans for mixed signal of Rigol DS2000/4000?
« on: December 31, 2012, 11:07:56 am »
Hi,

Does someone know if Rigol has plans to release a mixed signal version of their current DS2000 and DS4000 series? (like they had their 1000E and 1000D)

Anyone opened it to see if they reserved board space for the logic inputs?
Edit:(Obviously Dave already took it apart) Looks like they reserved extra space:

And if so any guess when they would release it?
On the same subject what is the life cycle of scopes of that price range these days?

Thanks

19 March 2013 - Rigol Technologies EU GmbH introduces new High End Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes based on the DS4000 Series Digital Oscilloscopes. They are featuring a big 9“ color display and outstanding memory. The new oscilloscopes are available with 100 MHz to 500 MHz bandwidth, 4GSa/s sample rate, and up to four analog channels. The instruments are ideal for applications in research and education, production and development and industrial areas including communications, aerospace/defense, industrial electronics, and many more.

Nice, but those DS4000 are very expensive when compared to DS2000.
Amazing machines. https://www.youtube.com/user/denha (It is not me...)
