Hi

I have a lot of hard drives with a lot of videos on them and I would like to connect them all (or a lot) to my Samsung TV that only has one USB port.  I bought two USB switch boxes, here is one of them:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BWF5U0M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Neither works, and I figured it is because they are recognized as a USB hub (on a computer) and the Samsung will not recognize USB hubs.  Since they have hard switches I did not think they would act like a hub.

Does anyone know of a USB switch that is not a USB hub?  I think it would not have any electronics, just physical switches.   Or would I have to make my own with something like a 4P6T switch like:

http://www.newark.com/electroswitch/c4d0406n-a/switch-rotary-4p6t-500ma-125v/dp/06M4597

I would use the switch on powered external drives so low power through the switch.

Does anyone know of any TVs that have multiple USB ports or any that allow USB hubs?   I do not mind physically getting up and flipping a switch.

On the Samsung, I can only connect one drive up to 4 tb external drive (no 5 or 6) to the TV and only up to 2 tb portable (because of power)

thanks
