This is one of my automatic watches. A Seiko super 5, with exposed mechanism on the back.

I also have several digitals, of which the trusty old Casio F-91W is my favorite.

Is there anything special about this microcontrollerless glue logic clock?

Yes! It has an absolutely non-multiplexed display. All segments are driven by their own gate with an own resistor. It´s absolutely flickerless.

You must be an absolute expert on binary if you can easily get the time from that one.
