I have a SM-77 from 'Heath by Fluke' and it was made in the USA.
I still need to get one of those for my collection.
If I knew, I would have given you the heads up on a brand new one.  That auction might have ended?  Let me look and PM you.

Thanks for the picture.  I must be blind, but I can't see any "Made In" anywhere on the back.  I didn't realize they still made the series III during the beginnings of the Internet era.

I can't find the one i saw that proudly said "MADE IN USA" but this is the one (also 80 others) i could find without any "MADE IN"
I guess the only one i saw that was MADE IN USA was another set but they look just as old as the others
