Given the amount of time and shifted delivery dates that has passed, I'd move on.

Perhaps give Batterfly a look (history of shipping DS1054Z's at least). Prices are decent for Europe as well (339EUR before shipping or VAT).

As far as I know the delivery time for the DS1054Z is similar from all the vendors. I've had a friend have his unit on order (I think from Batronix) for many months now as well.
Come and check my projects at http://www.dgkelectronics.com ! I also tweet as https://twitter.com/DGKelectronics

Should I just be patient and keep on waiting or what should I do?  :-//
Do they give any explanation for the repeated delay?
If they don't or they don't sound convincing, move on and find another reseller (and let them know it in your final query).

My scope should be shipped on 06-May, from Batronix.  :-+
And i have been receiving updates on the shipping situation regularly.

Just asking: are there any laws / regulations that help the customer in these kind of situations?

Other than "it hasn't arrived yet", no...

The law of common sense. If you are unhappy cancel your order.

I had a similar experience trying to order a piece of Rigol gear (don't remember which scope it was). I've got a good relationship with my equipment supplier, so I'm pretty certain they weren't trying to jerk me around. The first shipment was delayed, the second shipment showed up on time but had the wrong scope, and that's when I cancelled and ordered a Hameg/Rohde&Schwarz instead (at twice the price, but I'm pretty happy with it)

My supplier suggested that that's par for the course. People are pretty happy when they do eventually arrive, but the supply chain is pretty unreliable.

I'm just thinking about putting the cash down for one of these but if there are supply problems I'm going to pass. Are there any 100MHz scopes close to these at least in regular UK/European stock, even if only 2 channels?

No, no, don't get me wrong. There's a supply problem with this particular vendor. Tens of people ordered the scope from the other vendors mentioned above and they received it (some got lucky and got it in 2 weeks or less).

I see that Agesys is one of the two official Rigol distributors in Romania... hmm.
I briefly looked at the pages of the other distributor, Ronexprim, and interestingly they don't even list the DS1054Z, they start from the DS1074Z (but without stating whether they have it ready in warehouse, as far as I could get you always need to contact them).

I ordered from batterfly.com the ds1054z with hakko-888 bundle a few days ago. It should be available on May 6th. I didn't trust any of the two Rigol sellers from Romania with the order  :-\ I also looked on batterfly blog and they had a few shipments in April and February of these scopes so I think you should try a different store.
