He received the package from MyUS and it's unbelievable how poorly it was packed. A tiny cardboard box, basically no padding at the front and rear of the device, just a thin bubble wrap.
It's not that I didn't make clear to the company to pack this properly. And they know the value as well. I chose and paid for extra options "fragile stickers, extra padding, and collectible/fragile item packing" but it was clearly not respected.
A damn shame and makes me mad. Of course I filed a complaint with request for compensation, let's see what they will answer.
By the way, the meter seems to have arrived at MyUS initially with better packaging, see the last picture attached. There were some air pillows in the package from the Ebay seller, I'm quite sure he put it there to protect the front and rear, but the idiot at MyUS moved it to the sides when repacking it.
Luckily the self test passes, so the caddock ceramic should've survived the shock.
I might try to get a spare front bezel from tek.com.
