This magic PSU popped out under my bench and since I recently bought many TTi devices, it sadly needs to find a new home.
Why is it magic? Because he can also sink current. Yes it will operate as a DC load device in CV mode, he can suck up 2A max according to spec.
See it is ok to get a negative current reading in this PSU:

The power supply can sink current for more rapid down programming in the CV mode. For Series 664xA and 665xA
supplies, this capability is defined by the second quadrant area (-I s ) of the Output Characteristic Curve. These supplies can
sink about 20% of their maximum rated positive output current. For Series 667xA, 668xA, and 669xA power supplies, this
is an uncharacterized current-sinking area that provides a limited downprogramming capability.
I pushed it to suck 2,5A, the fan went crazy but it did manage to hold it:
So you will have a nice PSU and decent DC Load in the same device, which is pretty cool.
Of course I do not need to tell you about the quality of this device, just read the datasheet.
This is, in my eyes, a perfect compromise between a lab and a production power supply.
Normally the HP 6xxxx PSU are designed just to work controlled by a GPIB interface so the user interface can be found not intuitive.
This device has two knobs to adjust current and voltage which help a human user to get what he wants.

Yes everybody knows that the rear output connection are mechanically not the best and they require special special attention when connecting the output cables.
Many of you will complain that it does not have output connector in the front side, but Dave successfully modified a similar unit:
The outside condition are not perfect, there are some scratches, but everything is functional.
The cal seal was damaged because I did the mains voltage conversion from 110VAC to 220VAC:

So if it goes bad you can fix it with a little brain work.
Right now is wired up for 220VAC mains, but he can be set to 240VAC or 110/120VAC easily if you want.
