Any chance of some internal pics ? Would be intersting to see if they use the same 6000 series PCB, or it's a special for this model.

It's the same board. If you look in the service manual they have the exact same part number.

For what it's worth: if anyone considers using this type of scope with an 16900 series Agilent logic analyser I can confirm that it is supported and works just fine. Just be careful not to enable the MSO option as that will cause the LA application to say the scope is not supported.
