whats the best low cost programmer for firmware

whats the best low cost usb programmer for firmware/roms on parallel and spi nands/nor and eeproms ect. Ive got a box of stuff that i need to fix that have had bad firmware flashes ive been told about a progskeet v1.1 but ive not had any luck finding one and looking on ebay has just confused me even more with the raft of Chinese programmers. i was looking at a teensy 2.0++

I think the MiniPro TL866 is great. I've got one and it works flawlessly.
Can you give some examples of what you need to program? That will help us to help you.

I have a few android TV sticks to repair a Chinese tvpad box a few mini itx motherboards and a few modems. I have managed to fix a few things off the pile with my bus pirate but it is limited the spi device s only. I have just seen the eevblog video about the mini pro it looks like I nice piece of equipment.

+1 for the TL866 ,great programmer.Do the mini itx boards have sop8, dip, plcc32 soldered etc .You might need a JTAG to debrick the modems modem/router ?

thanks for the links the remainder of the motherboards have dip 8 packages nice and easy to remove and pop in the programmer
