Capacitor identification and what to use?
« on: July 05, 2024, 09:58:13 pm »
I need to replace a SMD capacitor labeled on schematic as 103P. I’m just not sure where to get one and what size it actually is? I attached a part of the schematic showing it and circled in red.

If you really want to know what it is, go here: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Vishay-Cera-Mite/562CAA102EH103PA65?qs=t%2Fk8jExiEqsvl%2FpbczS2HA%3D%3D

You can get these any place and not necessarily at Mouser. It is a 0.01 micro Farad.

Here is a good place to find information on caps: https://www.buildcircuit.com/capacitors/

It's 10n, for the size look on PCB.

The one I need to replace is a SMD ceramic I thought the value was .01uf . Aren’t the codes different for ceramic disk and SMD?
