No.  I find it irritating that someone cannot write two sentences in his or her native language without making six errors.

Because I am not a native english speaker. On top of that, I am also dyslectic.

I wouldn't normally comment on others writing styles, unless it makes it hard to read or understand. Ending a sentence with a comma instead of a full stop (period) makes it very difficult to understand your meaning. It's made worse by not leaving a space afterwards. I'm only making these comments to help you get a better response to your questions.

An example of the confusion it can cause is in one of your threads about a power supply that I have just replied to.

It's a matter of courtesy to your readers to try and make your posts easy to read and understand -- especially when you are asking them for free help. It would go a long way if you adhere to punctuation conventions:

- A space is required after each of the ",.!?:;" punctuation marks.
- The ! and ? marks will end a sentence just fine. There is no further "," or "." following them.
- The letter which starts a new sentence is capitalised.
- As 807 said, do start a new sentence where a thought ends. Don't write long cascades of comma-separated sentences.

These may seem like nitpicking, but they make your writing easier to grasp, because they make the sentence structure clearer.

Let us get this right... You are complaining about people replying to your posts in the same style that you use in your posts.

I imagine most languages have a phrase that for that; the English one is "pot calling the kettle black".
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.
Glider pilot's aphorism: "there is no substitute for span". Retort: "There is a substitute: skill+imagination. But you can buy span".

Using multiple threads for a single topic pisses people off too. You've demonstrated that you don't care about irritating them by doing that.
Best Regards, Chris

This may seem like nitpicking.

Sorry could not resist.  :-DD

But while we are here do we have another Faringdon incarnation? ? ? ? ? ? ? (Feel free to jump on the question marks)

This may seem like nitpicking.

It's a matter of style. Read it as "These (four bullet items) may seem like nitpicking..."

Although I have lived in the USA for almost 50 years now my English isn't all that good. So I apology for my bad English. I try to write so my post is understandable.

I know, but to me it does not sound right, and like I wrote "could not resist", to try to put more humor into this silly thread.  >:D

Just like you did with your subtle first response.  Made me laugh out loud.
