Parallel USB ESD protection

I'm using a SRV05-4 for USB 2.0 ESD protection and it has 4 I/O ports/pins. I only need 2 for the USB port and rather than leaving the other 2 unused, is there any problem with putting them in parallel? As I see it, if something goes wrong and diodes start conducting, won't having an extra path to share the load be helpful?
Here's the datasheet:

, I'm using Option 2 in the Applications Information (page 5) with a 10K resistor.

If it's full or low speed USB, there is no problem with parallel connection. However I'd simply use another device like USBLC6-2SC6, SRV05-4 is very expensive for what it is and redundant for the task.
