Adapter question VSSOP and SSOP to DIP
« on: February 05, 2018, 02:29:21 pm »
If I buy  VSSOP to DIP adapter PCB's will I also be able to mount  SSOP devices to them, or do SSOP and VSSOP have different pin spacings? Thanks.
Best regards,

I'm not familiar enough with those packages to say, but if you do find they don't match, you may be able to find an adapter that has one pattern on one side of the board, and the other on the other side.  So in effect two single-sided boards, with both sides connected to the DIP pins.  I found those for SOP and TSSOP, and got the 20-pin version, which of course works for that size and anything smaller.  Just gives you a bit more flexibility.
