mounting frame:: Startech Bracket425f, a couple of questions

I need to develop a custom engine and I need a mounting frame like the one in the pic to install it into a common PC case.

The Startech Bracket425f kit lets you add four 2.5” SSDs or HDDs into two 5.25” front bays (so it's a 2U kit) of your computer or server, allowing you to enhance your data storage capacity.

If someone happens to have one of these kits, there is a question that I would ask: is the mounting frame for the hard drives attached to the base with screws (pic1: points with a red line) to the mounting frame base? And if so, is it removable?

I don't need the frame for the hard drives, I only need the mounting frame base, on the top of which I would like to install my custom board.



If so, it would be perfect for my needs, but I cannot find this information from the vendor's website.
