Asus Zephyrus GX701G Review

I am thinking about it, not for gaming, but rather for video editing and modelling

Hmm, I bought a never used Thinkpad P1 gen2, 30 months of warranty, i7-9750H, P1000, 16GB ram + 512GB nvme for 1450 Eur (from a store in Germany). I invested +140 Eur for the 2nd 512GB nvme and 16GB of memory and call it a day. Isn't the price of 2650 Eur for the Asus bit over the edge?

The GPU and the extra cooling system seem worth it

Miss MobileTechReview doesn't seem so enthusiast, however.

I read some positive comments on the upcoming  Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 with AMD. But it is probably a different animal.
I've never been keen on paying premium for a laptop with high performance graphics. I am OK with my T1000.

Unless what you need to do requires a high performance computer and absolutely must be done while traveling, you will be better off with a desktop.
