Have you heard of Floorp, a Firefox-based browser (apparently from Japan)?

Since 7 years I have so many difficulties compiling Firefox for HPPA and MIPS ... that ...
... sorry to say, but I have eliminated it from stage4.

So, I download the x86 binaries for GNU/Linux, run it on a mac-mini/intelcore2.
I've just given up on compiling it from sources, even on more popular architectures.
Also because the problems have at the root the compiler, in addition to all the too many dependencies that Firefox brings with it.

What advantages does this Floorp have?

They claim no user tracking at all and it allows tab split (you can have 2 different websites side to side inside the same tab), also supports gestures. Doesn't look bad as an alternative.

Building Firefox takes ages. Some Linux distros have a package for Floorp.
