Flameshot - Screenshot SW
« on: August 02, 2024, 06:12:23 pm »
At work I am forced to use Win.
Got Greenshot installed by default, and loved it.

Then I realized it was abandoned SW since 2017.

So I finally found Flameshot... which also support linux.

Just sharing the good news, maybe you guys are using something even better?

Looks quite good.
The only issue I see with this one is it has to be running as a tray icon to use it, you can't just open the app to activate the screenshot function?

edit: something about shortcuts here https://flameshot.org/docs/guide/windows-help/

What does the Windows Snipping tool not do that you need 3rd party software to compensate?  Win key + Shift + s
