CD4066BE bug in Proteus or I use it wrong?
« on: June 01, 2024, 06:15:21 am »
I have made this test thing to check if CD4066BE works in minimal sample, it doesn't work as I intended
I expected the LED to light up because I push +V to control pin, one of the SIG pins is connected to +V as well and I expect the other SIG_A pin to passthrough current but it doesn't happen
Hardware CD4066BE works fine for me

CD4066BE was added from SamacSys page of the Pick Device manager

Likely buggy or incompatible model. Also bugs were pretty common in Proteus while using its own models at least in the past. I did not bother emulating anything other than simplest passive circuits in Proteous for a long time as I have better things to do than figuring out emulation bugs.
