Wireless power using directional microwaves is real and can be done at quite high power, but it's hard to imaging a use case where it makes sense over other options, given the losses, complexity and safety issues.

The microwave link may well be fine, but I'm a little dubious about the "laser safety curtain" working reliably in those conditions.
