Really?! DogStar TailTalk: World’s First Dog Emotion Sensor

Sorry, I usually try to be an optimistic person and see the best in things but this one comes as a shock.

Being a parent of 2 children and another on the way, I hardly have the time to mop the milk spills off of the floor let alone care what emotional state my dog is in.

Have we really disconnected this far from reality?  :palm:

My late Border Collie companion Max would chew that band off as a annoying distraction to his sacred and sensitive tail...

The more I think about it,  he might have also "hacked" the wagging pattern as a social engineering problem to "train" his human.
He figured out that laser pointer dots come from the handheld laser in less then a minute. From then on out dots were not worth chasing.

Never underestimate the skill set of a companion dog...

I think there is a use for a decent digital dog monitor, but attached to the collar, not the tail.

I dunno, I think I can speak fluent dog without an 'emotion sensor' of course my dog is usually saying one of the following:

"That smells pretty good, come on, give us some, please, come on, I will stare at you until you do"

"You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, where have you been? You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, where have you been? You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home, You're Home"

" I need to go out, you don't want me to crap on the floor do you? oh goodness a Blue tongue lizard/possum/passer by to bark at...."

"ENEMY AT THE GATE, ENEMY AT THE GATE, WARNING, ENEMY AT THE GATE, ENEMY AT THE GATE... what he/she/it is a friend? I love you too then, give a good dog a pat new friend?"

Not only I don't need the emotion sensor but my dogs tell me what time it is at breakfast and at dinner on the dot and they know when we go into or out of daylight savings as well.

There is a joke that goes something like this:

To find out who loves you more, your significant other or your dog, place them both on the trunk (boot) of your car and lock them down for one hour (of course not with the car running nor in a hot sunny day) Open the trunk and check who is totally happy and who is totally pissed to see you.

Of course I would not dare to try that experiment with my wife. Plus cars now all have unlocks from inside the trunk anyways.
