Hey all!
My first post on the EEVBlog Forum
Anyways, I came across this cool project on Kickstarter and thought i'd share:
www.kickstarter.com/projects/1106670630/mojo-digital-design-for-the-hobbyistIts a neat little FPGA prototyping board containing:
* Spartan 6 XC6SLX9 FPGA (-2 speed grade)
* A microcontroller (ATmega16U4) used for configuring the FPGA, USB communications, and reading the analog pins
* 84 digital IO pins
* 8 analog inputs (via Atmel MCU)
* 8 general purpose LEDs
* 1 reset button
* 1 LED to show when the FPGA is correctly configured
* On board voltage regulation that can handle 4.8V - 12V
* On board flash memory to store the FPGA configuration file
I put my order in a month or two ago, and what do you know, it arrived in my hot little hands just the other day
Even though the kickstarter project is over, you can still buy it directly from the makers through their website:
http://embeddedmicro.com/products/the-mojoNow to do something useful with it.... hehe!
Cheerios,
David
