anyone else have issues with Keysight's giveaway page? I have entered several times now. Each time I select confirmation email but never get an email. Plus I need to clear cookies to enter each day. I am only entering once a day as per the rules.

I am answering no current purchase plans. I won't that is casing my entries to be thrown into the proverbial bitbucket.

Yes, I am seeing some of the same issues.
I don't even get the chance to sign up anymore.
It either says entry received, or come back tomorrow, even after clearing cache, switching browsers, AND switching computers/tablets.
I had issues with last year's contest too.

You need to clear cookies in your browser..

Sorry I see there is already a thread for the contest. If a mod wants to merge that is fine. I also see others are hiving similar issues.

I just hope I am being entered! Well I never win anything anyway so..........

I've had to re-register a couple of times to get my daily extra entries in.

I clicked on the lock in the URL box that says it's secure. From there I checked all the necessary cookies and allowed them.
I also went to Inspect> console to see if anything was being blocked.
I amended my hosts file (which was a download from a security site) and hashed out any line that might interfere, mainly google, facebook, doubleclick.net and youtube.

Maybe it'll remember me if I have to close my browser or restart my computer, we'll see.

Sorry for the trouble! The e-mail delivery system from our web vendor was having issues but we should be back up and running now. I did check and verify that all entries did get into the system, even if an e-mail confirmation wasn't sent.

And do you need to sign up everyday? That is what I have been doing. Hope I am not breaking th rules.

Also hope you have a way to prevent someone from scamming the contest with fake email addresses and home addresses. A suggestion might be to prohibit PO boxes.

Sign up once per day to get an extra entry per day. That is my understanding. I signed up with name address etc once. I now only have to click a button to get my additional entry each day.

Doesn't work that way for me. I have to enter my name each time though I just enter my name and the whole form is then filled out. Don't know if that is a browser thing or not.

And I still didn't get the confirmation email.

You don't have to sign up every day, but you can for extra entries. If you have to sign in again, your cookie didn't kick in but that won't cause any problems. It just might be obnoxious. I'm also vetting each of the winners a number of different ways to keep people from cheating, we've already caught at least one individual (they didn't win).

Thanks really nice contest. Videos are great too I am learning a lot. Sure hope I win a power supply. I hate mine.

I hope trying to fix the browser issues didn't look like cheating.
I always used my same info.

Question. Would it be too much to ask for a list of winners to be posted somewhere on EEVBlog after the Give-a-Way ends?
It would be really great to see how many forum members may have won something

Yep, ive entered everyday, but have yet to receive an email confirm. No clue if I am actually entering or not... Ill just wait and see. If I win something ill know it worked, if not ill claim its rigged

This seems to have worked. It has remembered me after a restart.
1 Allowed all the above cookies for google, facebook, doubleclick.net and youtube. (and, of course keysight cookies)
2 Hashed out lines in the hosts file referring to these sites.

We fixed the e-mail issue. Honestly, if you have an extra entry or two I probably won't notice or care. It's the blatant cheating I won't allow.

Thanks Daniel for keeping on top of this. I noticed all my issues are gone, so with only 3 days left, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have some older HP equipment that I fixed up, and it would be awesome to win something from Keysight.

Given the usual amount of entries in any online contest with remotely decent prizes (10,000) divided by how many scopes are given away each year (say 30).
Some time between now and 2353, plenty of time to save up money for the taxes.
