Ok. I'm (conceptually) pressing the youtube button, which says, "Enter EEVBlog competition".

I've NOT been able to get an answer to the question "What if we can't easily afford the import duties/taxes (apparently many thousands of pounds) etc, and DON'T want to have any incorrect information on the customs form" ?

Do I really need this scope......NO. (So strictly speaking according to the rules, I'm OUT!).

But then do I need a 250 MPH, red Ferrari...NO.

But do I want them .....

I'll let you work the answer out.

I don't know, it feels kinda cheap of me to join this with only 9 posts and having joined so recently... but on the other hand, I really do need a scope so I guess I'm in [presuming I don't get deleted due to low post count, I saw others with fewer post counts so maybe just maybe]

Hey Dave,

I am in!
Hope I win, just went through a expensive move and was jobless for 3 months. Had to sell some of my equipment to make rent, ugh. My Owan scope was a poor victim. It wasn't the best scope, but it was better than a lot of the inexpensive ones.

All is better now and I have a great job, now to buy some equipment. I will hold off on the scope purchase for a little bit.
