I'm off to price a  the new 100 Megapixel Hasseblad so I can take pictures of my cat.

That is a 'fat negative'. Shoot loose and crop the print I guess. The challenge with that beast is getting enough MTF out of your glass. That is enough resolution to see ALL the optical flaws - sometimes that is good, sometimes is sucks.

I fear interest is dropping for those voting for my video after seeing such a massive gap.

There could be some of that in it - as well as people getting 'over it' and just losing some interest.

But stuff them ... I'm going to keep voting until the end!!!


As for trends in the charting - David K. does have some really suspect patterns - I mean, these glow in the dark.

Also, Nilu's has some curious bumps and a fascinating jump - where her voting rate had doubled in the last 2 days (from 543 per day to 1033)  HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?

It's amazing that they both seem to have votes on demand - doubling their vote rate from one 24hr period to the next to match whatever the other one is doing, that must make this so much easier

   A $30,000 camera.  I'm sure someone will use it to take cat pictures.   People say the ancient Egyptians worshiped cats.  But someday long into the future archeologists will dig up some YouTube servers and find that we spent millions of hours taking and viewing cat videos.

Actually I'd expect the increase in number of votes to flatten out due to loss of interest (as we are seeing with Carlos' votes -sorry mate-) but Nilu's votes seem to increase exponentially.

BTW: kudos to those who are keeping scores and making graphs! It is a very interesting social experiment from where I'm sitting.

Well... given the high stakes, a viable strategy might be to pay the Chinese vote farmers to create a nailbiting, down-to-the-wire race between the two front runners.  Keysight would then disqualify them both for cheating and award the scope to the highest-ranked competitor who pees clean, presumably Carlos.

haha today i did my 3 votes and one of them was 4444, must be my timing...

So, keysight, i guess you're gonna send Nilu J a DSOX2014A and/or David K a N9912A, those being the instruments they need/would be the right tool for the job, rather than the DSOX6000X?
I mean, this is meant to be a contest of technical merit, so you would of course send them the right tool for the job?
