Pretty sure the taser in the door handle would be viewed as an illegal boobytrap if anyone (particularly a cop) ever got hit with it.  And the oil injection smoke screen certainly violates pollution laws if nothing else.  Nowadays, probably get you a trumped up "release of a chemical weapon" charge if the feds get involved...   Actually installed a couple systems like this many years ago. Oil injected into the exhaust manifold for smoke, propane injected near the tailpipe (with a spark igniter at the opening) for shooting flames. 

More power to him for standing up against abusive cops (and there are LOTS of them around), but those 2 items actually give the cops a legally justifiable REASON to bust his balls.  Part of me suspects that provocation might be just what this guy wants, though...

Surely just using the cars double locking would be good enough? Especially with bullet proof glass.

Though I don't mind the guy protecting himself from out of control US cops. But I somehow have the sneaking feeling he will use his safety measures to test the boundaries...

Haven't looked at the video in detail but to shock there has to be a complete circuit; how would only touching a door handle work? (I'm assuming people standing outside, where cars are, would be wearing insulating shoes, so going through the ground won't work either.)

I would guess both electrodes are under the handle, so you get zapped across the hand when you grab the handle. Probably pretty effective at making a cop let go...then reach for a gun.

Surprised he hasn't tried the revolving license plate frame, or a radar jammer.
