Well, to paraphrase the Kinks (thoroughly serendipitously appropriate band name in this circumstance), "it's a mixed up muddled up shook up world, except for Robots, R-o-b-o-Robots".

From the purely regulatory perspective, it would be interesting to see how such "devices" (apologies if that terminology offends any robots who got past the captcha) are classified and whether they will end up with functionally safe elements to limit unintentional strangulation etc, and of course... anti-viral software.
