Got a really nice Fluke for $120.

So nice is the feeling you get with a Fluke in hand! :-DMM

I have a few lower end Flukes, but the higher end stuff is so far above the masses! It's sort of like my Mac, it just has the look and feel of high Quality. I had to stop myself from acting like Dave with the selector knob. :-DD

Just thought I'd share. :-+

Oh ya, off Ebay.

Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. Sell a man a fish, and you'll both eat for a day.

27-2 and 28-2's are tankier than the typical meters though, ala more ruggedized.

I'm green.  I still don't have a 27-II.

If you haven't already, watch Dave's review of the 28/27-II. (EEVBLOG #64)

It was a good deal, but not great! I've had a saved search for the 27 II, 28 II and 87 V. I missed(out of town)a 27 II that went for 90. shipped. The 28/87's seem to go for a bit over $200. And thats just too much when I have other meter's I like, such as the Brymen 257 & 869. I got this 27 II because of Dave's torture test, and the fact you can pick them up for about half of the 28 II. Since I rarely play with AC, RMS means nothing to me, and temp would never be used either. So the 27 II is a no brainer(for Me). :-+
