This so called -song contest- has always been an ORDEAL to sit and 'enjoy'
An exercise in TOLERANCE watching misrepresentations of other countries cultures, with way too much CHEESE from the hosts and the chanting street rabble
Basically it's an annoying music generating soccer match
As previously mentioned, nobody is forcing you to watch it.
Getting upset at your country's participation in the ESC is like getting upset that people dare to celebrate Hanukkah when you only celebrate Christmas, and proceeding to go to a few Jewish households and giving them letters on why they should stop celebrating their stupid, boring holiday, and instead go celebrate something decent like Christmas.
Personally I really enjoy the contest, regardless of who wins (PORTUGAL SUCKED). The best thing that you can do when you don't like something is to stop talking about it and have nothing to do with it. Talking about it and getting angry about it just brings attention to the topic. Sorta like what Steven Colbert did (If you know who he is, or hear what he's done) saying what he did about Donald Trump (If you don't know what he said, look it up, not posting it here). That pissed of a lot of people, and thus brought a lot of publicity his way, as in that case, there was no such thing as bad publicity.
What relevance does Christmas, Hansukkah and
2 horse race americain poorliticks
have to do with a song contest that plainly sucks?
just another gladiator style soccer HAM fest to stir up musically challenged 'competitive' rabble,
little people who are plainly unqualified, misguided,
and should not be allowed to vote for anything, period.
And why would I want to annoy Yiddish or Muslim households about what they celebrate when and where and why?
I think you have me confused with someone else who may GAS about such time wasting conflict fodder,
that's like 1000s of years past it's "USE BY DATE:"
